Giacomo Petrobelli topped the Bronze Test at Circuit Paul Ricard at the wheel of the #56 Aston Martin run by Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn.
The experienced British-Italian racer posted a 1m55.065s to edge Charles Dawson (#222 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG). Bashar Mardini was third aboard the #89 Lionspeed GP Porsche, followed by Rinat Salikhov (#87 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG) and Ahmad Al-Harthy (#42 Oman Racing by Century Motorsport BMW).
In other news, the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin has withdrawn from the event following Jamie Day's crash in yesterday's closing Prologue session. The grid now stands at 58 cars.
The rest of the field will be on-track at 14:25 for Free Practice 1, followed by Free Practice 2 at 19:25. Both sessions last 90 minutes. Qualifying and the six-hour race will both run on Saturday and can be watched live on the GT World YouTube channel. Click here for more information.
